2018 has certainly been a busy year for Stevie and not just her 2nd induction into the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame this month. Kicking off the beginning of the year was the re-release of the remastered version of the 1975 Fleetwood Mac album which was Stevie’s first with the band. The CD was released in multiple formats including 3CD/DVD/LP, 2 CD expanded version,as well as being available on digital streaming such as Amazon. The end of January brought us one of Stevie’s most poignant moments of the year when she attended the MusiCares event where Fleetwood Mac was honored. She gave a speech about the fans, her age, and ended with a tribute to her dear friend Tom Petty who unexpectedly passed away last year. She stated that his death had just about broken her heart and that she would never get over it.

The brand new lineup of Fleetwood Mac featuring Neil Finn and Mike Campbell appeared on CBS This Morning in April to discuss the new tour. The departure of former guitarist Lindsey Buckingham was also discussed as well as how Finn and Campbell were introduced to the band.

On June 19th, country star Leann Rimes announced on her Twitter that her final single from her Re-Imagined EP was a duet with Stevie of the song Borrowed. Stevie’s reasong for the collaboration and reaction was included in a Rolling Stone article:”Nicks, who refers to the “How Do I Live” singer as “the best I have ever sung with,” notes that she chose to record “Borrowed” for Re-Imagined after Rimes sang it on The Tonight Show in 2013. “I stopped in my tracks and sat down on the floor and started to cry,” the rock icon tells Rolling Stone. “I understood what she was singing about. I understood that the pain was real… and I understood that it had happened to me. When the song ended, I called my assistant to tell her that one day, I would sing this song with LeAnn. It was our destiny.”

In August, Stevie who has had a long time break from Instagram returned with a brand new account including a behind the scenes selfie from her episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse You can follow her official Instagram account here.In September Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ ‘An American Treasure’ was released to commemorate the anniversary of Tom’s passing. Stevie was featured on the demo version of a song entitled The Apartment Song. The Mac made their debut performing together for the first time in two different events the first being on the Ellen Show singing Gypsy & The Chain. At the end of the month the band made an untelevised performance of the bands hit at the iHeart Radio Music Festival.

October saw our White Witch returning to American Horror Story for the 8th season for Episode 5, Boy Wonder. Her return also marked the return of Misty Day a swamp witch who was a Stevie super fan who’s death, Supreme Cordelia took hard. She serenaded the group of witches and warlocks with a piano version of Gypsy being accompanied by BD Wong.

The end of the year was capped by the beginning of the first leg of the An Evening With Fleetwood Mac tour which has received rave reviews and now includes a European tour. The announcement of Stevie being inducted to the Rock Hall of Fame for the 2nd time brings this year to an end. We cannot wait to see what 2019 brings for Stevie including the March induction ceremony in New York for the Rock Hall!!
