Fleetwood Mac is extending their ongoing North American tour with the addition of new tour dates. The tour will now go through more than 50 cities and will end April 8, 2019 in Toronto, Canada.

The tour lineup consists of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie, along with new guitarists Mike Campbell (of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) and Neil Finn (of Crowded House and Split Enz). Campbell and Finn joined the band this fall.

“Fleetwood Mac has always been about an amazing collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents,” Mick Fleetwood said in a statement. “We jammed with Mike and Neil and the chemistry really worked and let the band realize that this is the right combination to go forward with in Fleetwood Mac style. We know we have something new, yet it’s got the unmistakable Mac sound.”

“With Mike and Neil, we’ll be performing all the hits that the fans love, plus we’ll be surprising our audiences with some tracks from our historic catalogue of songs,” said the group collectively in a statement. “Fleetwood Mac has always been a creative evolution. We look forward to honoring that spirit on this upcoming tour.”

Fleetwood Mac, founded in 1967, has created music for over half a century. In addition to the tour, the band is commemorating this milestone with a new 50-song collection, 50 Years — Don’t Stop. The album collects songs from every Fleetwood Mac album to date, and will be available Nov. 16. The group is also kicking off a European tour in June 2019.

Fleetwood Mac have announced details of European tour dates for summer 2019 – including a huge stop at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.

The classic rock veterans are currently touring with a new line-up after guitarist Lindsey Bucking was sacked back in April due to “scheduling conflicts”. The line-up now features Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell and Crowded House frontman Neil Finn, as well as the band’s own Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood.

After a number of US performances, now the band have dates in Berlin, Dublin and London.

“Fleetwood Mac has always been about an amazing collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents,” said Mick Fleetwood. “We jammed with Mike and Neil and the chemistry really worked and let the band realise that this is the right combination to go forward with in Fleetwood Mac style.

“We know we have something new, yet it’s got the unmistakable Mac sound.”

A full band statement added: “We are thrilled to welcome the musical talents of the caliber of Mike Campbell and Neil Finn into the Mac family. With Mike and Neil, we’ll be performing all the hits that the fans love, plus we’ll be surprising our audiences with some tracks from our historic catalogue of songs,” said the group collectively. “Fleetwood Mac has always been a creative evolution. We look forward to honouring that spirit on this upcoming tour.”

Fleetwood Mac’s upcoming UK and European tour dates are below. Tickets are on sale here from 9am on Friday October 26.

It was recently revealed that Lindsey Buckingham had begun legal proceedings against the band following his firing.

Buckingham’s manager informed the musician that Fleetwood Mac “would proceed with its upcoming and already organised 2018 to 2019 concert tour without him”, and that “not a single member of the band” had spoken to him directly about the decision.

Buckingham has now decided to sue his former bandmates for “fiduciary duty, breach of oral contract and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage”.

Responding, the band’s spokesperson Kristen Foster has disputed his claims, adding: “Fleetwood Mac looks forward to their day in court.”

Meanwhile, Fleetwood Mac were among the acts rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury 2019 – however organiser Emily Eavis has since insisted that they have not been booked.

Last night Stevie made her return to TV in American Horror Story: Apocalypse. She reprised her role as “The White Witch” in episode 5 entitled Boy Wonder. While she was in only the last 5 minutes her incorporation into the episode was pure Stevie magic. Her return was on the heels of Misty Day’s resurrection after her death which occured in Season 3’s finale Seven Wonders in which Stevie was a guest as well (along with Episode 10 The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks). The two are reunited as Stevie serenades those in the room with Gypsy.

It has been announced today through numerous news sources including Stevie’s social media accounts that she has been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Via USA Today:
“Stevie Nicks is also nominated for induction for the first time as a solo artist, having previously been welcomed into the Rock Hall in 1998 as a member of legendary rock group Fleetwood Mac. If she makes the cut when the 2019 class is announced in December, Nicks will become the first female artist to join the Hall a second time.
Starting Oct. 9, the public can visit rockhall.com to cast their votes for who they would like to see in the Class of 2019. Voting ends Dec. 9 and the top-five artists will make up a fan’s ballot, which counts as a single vote.”
Stevie took to her Social Media to express her happiness over the nomination in the post below:

Welcome to Iconic: Stevie Nicks my little corner in the vast Stevie online fan community. I remember that I always heard the song Edge of Seventeen but never thought about who sang it til a friend who I served in the Marines with, asked me if I knew who Stevie was. I decided after discussing this with my friend that, I would look into Stevie’s career and the rest is history! I decided to create this site in order share my love of Stevie with others as a fun hobby. What a better way to open up this site to share photos from the opening of An Evening With Fleetwood Mac last night as well from Stevie’s appearance at the 33rd Annual Awards for Metro Washington’s USO.
